    How do you equate your road bike stack/reach with mountain bike reach?
    According to this the stack is a lot higher, but as is the reach. But then again MTB stems are a lot shorter, yeah?

  • MTB and road stack/reach don't really compare. You could be looking at having your bars 30-50mm higher and 20-40mm closer on a trail bike than a road position. You don't want to be going over the bars when the trails point down. The current trend for MTBs is to have a long top tube, slack head angle and short stem. My colleague went for the 15inch, absolutely loves it and her husband then bought the same bike in the next size!
