Question is, by how much, and how off centre would it need to be, and therefore would it create issues for the attachment of the ds chainstay

How wide are the cups? It would be pushed out to the drive side by width of cup - 2.5mm assuming the shell is standard BSA. The BB30 non drive side spacer is like 7.5mm and then there's all the spacers and wave washer which I recon adds another 2-3.5mm so assuming your cups are 10mm wide at least on the NDS you aren't far out.

I have a spare set of hollowgram cranks from my synapse.
-

So do I, but not from your Synapse :) I suspect Currid is done with it though, and with good reason. Sounds like he got a right friday afternoon job. Unlucky :(

Depend on the shop, even if it's not possible, they may offer something at discount.

Box Fresh Cipo, how it stayed unbuilt for so long is beyond me.

I don't know the cup width, in Colorado right now but can measure the Time Machine when I get home (which has said Rotor BB).
It's desirable to push the spider out a little for 135mm rear ends, but say we go out another 2.5mm I think that means taking 5mm off the BB shell (assuming cup is 10mm).

unfortunately as much as I love cannondale I feel the same about BB30. won't be buying another until they have gone back to threaded

Has the expander engaged with the steerer? A mate of mine had the same problem. We managed to pull it out but it wasn't easy.

You've got a long wait ahead of you.

On the alloy frames you might be able to tap the shell for T47.
-
• #7914
Is there any science to this other than 'looks about the same size'?
-
• #7915
I think they - them people behind T47 - claim the PF30 shells can be transformed in to the inferior T47 standard.

First day out on the caad12.
Bb30a, why? This resulted in an expensive and not ideal solution to getting my preferred setup.
I'd also question the 25.4mm seatpost. A 27.2mm seat tube with a shimmed post would be better I think. -

Buys bike with System Integration written on it. Complains about downsides to system integration.

I actually have a CAAD7 with the original BB30/Hollowgram Sl system, the bearing still feel silky smooth for such an old bike (it gonna go for a frame swap to a CAAD12).
For some reason it is harder to get the bottom bracket 100% perfect on recent Cannondale.
Trek, Specialized, Fuji etc. Not even a problem to sort out. -

I am however listening to suggestions for disc frames with at least a bolt thru front, not BB30 and non mamil geo. happy with my caad for now but always nice to think of the next one..

Ive always liked the synapse.

Yeah I agree, but all this needs is a slammed stem and its 10/10 for me. Maybe difff saddle too
I can cut the shell down though before it's welded into the frame
