It'll be fine. Many polo players run freewheels on the fixed threaded hubs with no issues.

@edscoble this Pinnacle ss hub, does it come in 36h? If so, how much?

They sell it as a complete wheel I'm afraid!

Do you know if this wheel is any good, guessing it would be ~£350 to get a hope ss wheel built up, which seems to be the main alternative? Have been running a spaced rear wheel on my commuter, but would either like it back for the 'good' bike so I can have a set of wheels with some cross tyre on.
