  • Completely ballsed that up, perfectly on course for 14 miles, feeling good although doubts were creeping in, and then started getting stomach cramps and gave up, did a lot of walking, enjoyed run dem but was going to give up after seeing my sister shortly after mile 21 but was told o had to finish so shuffled the rest of the way round. 1:29 first half 2:00 second half. Not the way to run a marathon! I'd got a bit dehydrated by missing lots of water stations, but otherwise I really can't complain apart from anything apart from giving up on the goal. Need to find another race to pick myself up again!
