  • I suppose I'll have to avoid this thread for a while to keep away from the spoils.

  • Wifey said film differs from book a fair lick.

  • Book is better than the film, although film doesn't differ that much from the book.

  • were you expecting a different outcome?!

  • Some of the previous have been mildly entertaining, but this is a whole new level of dross.

  • Decided to watch OG GitS at home on projector instead, saw Fast & Furious 8 instead as wanted some easy eye candy. It didn't disappoint. Love that crew. Such ridiculousness.

Saw this review for Primer which was interesting, anyone seen it?

  • Yeah, I saw it at the cinema ages ago. I liked it and intended to revisit it but haven't yet. Might do that soon.

  • Looks kinda ok?

  • Haven't seen the trailer. I keep thinking SLJ does any old tosh but there's a pretty good film on Netflicks with him as POTUS who crases in a forest and is helped by a young Finnish hunter.

  • Trailer is deadpool, minus costumes + Sam Jackson.

  • Big Game? Cool will check out if so.

  • Big Game, that's it.

  • Primer is brilliant and a mind-fuck
Shame the review you posted didn't mix the frames up a little...

  • Primer on the list been needing some sci.fi.watched darkcity last week really enjoyed it.

  • Watched Misery from 1990 and Single white female from 1998 after digging out some old doovdes. Enjoyed them both!

  • Got two tickets to see an extra showing of Mad Max: Fury Road in black and white at my local cinema next weekend. SO. EXCITED.

  • I didn't see Fury Road when it first came out, but have booked for the Prince Charles, so doubly excited.

  • Last week I saw:
The Handmaiden - very enjoyable, some good performances and great cinematography.
The Lost City of Z - not bad, not good, a bit ponderous.
The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki - a very nice little film, really liked it and my film of the week.

  • The Belko Experiment - Battle Royale meets Cube meets Office Space.
Entertaining enough but lacked a lot of answers. Fairly brutal in places.

  • Didn't realise Mad Max Fury Road (black and chrome) was getting full cinema release.
Booked tickets at my local cineworld for Sunday.
    Much excite!

  • I watched Moana the other day, best Disney film in years and the songs are great too!

  • and, like Brave, no romantic interest. The heroine has her own path and her own story and no fella.
