I think they - them people behind T47 - claim the PF30 shells can be transformed in to the inferior T47 standard.

I attended a talk given by Chris King, he said that metal PF30 bob shells could be tapped for T47, just as long as there was enough metal there.
He makes T47 bb's, conceivable that he knows what he's talking about.

On the alloy frames you might be able to tap the shell for T47.
