yeah looks like 90% of rug is still presentable. clean it off well, freeze for a month it if it fits, spray it with moth killer, go to town...

Ta, that's the general vibe I'm getting about them. Apart from literally everyone I know telling me to buy a Worcester Bosch.

Could the outer rectangle be trimmed off (with the damaged portion) and the inner part be retained as a smaller rug?
It'd need doing professionally, of course. Depends how much it's worth to you.

We have a WB, works well.

Every professional I know says get a Vaillant.

+1. My builder said the Bosch part of Worcester Bosch was OK, the Worcester part, not so much.
We have a Vaillant. I wouldn't have gone for Viessmann as however good the German engineering Valliant is also German engineering and a much bigger company, which means better support, spares availability etc.

So er. When you see a house on your estate going for half a mill and it has a sauna, do you contemplate fitting a sauna in the yard of your maisonette? Asking for a friend.
-
• #17660
can we decide on how to pronounce 'sauna' first?
sow-nah or saa-oo-nah?

'Dirty little sex pool'

Wee tank

I think you're both getting a sauna and a hot tub mixed up...

No wonder I keep getting those types of looks...

Is there a large Scandinavian community in Wells Park? If not, forget about it.

• #17666
It's definitely one of many reasons...

Scandis/Swingers, I'm looking at cost of installing and then value added and then whether it would increase my sales population.

Any recommendations for removals? We're only moving half a mile - does that mean we should be able to do it more cheaply?
Also - exchanged today. Oooer.
-
• #17669
We moved a shorter distance than that.
Robinsons Removals. Pack up one day. Move in next. Not cheap but we didn't do it ourselves. Worth every penny.

I've used Simply Removals (inc packing service) twice now and they've been competitively priced and perfect for service on both occasions...

And congrats!

For those that have used a full pack and move service, did you do any prep yourself? Curious as I've only ever used Man & Van arrangements where we had packed and dismantled everything so it was just into van, drive, out of van.
Yes, i think i may salvage it. It's quite a nice thing.
Really need to go to town on moths. Had a previous outbreak and obvs didn't nuke them enough.
