I made a few assumptions: that both tags were in one journey and that he was perhaps heading home, and that home was more likely to be in a certain direction from the old tag than another. The image file names are the date / time stamps which give you an approximate radius from the last tag. Then you flip the image horizontally to identify any writing from shop signs etc, then put the two together and you're there.
