cheers for the advice, i'll keep an eye out for all three and try to see if i can get one for ~£60
If I were starting analog 35mm SLR today I'd definitely go for a Pentax ME
I already have a pentax ME fortunately, and its been great, just looking for something that allows me to pick both shutter speed and aperture.
I basically learned analog SLR photography with an AE-1.
No there's no major differences; the A1 is a bit tougher and heavier and capable of full auto mode.
I'd get any of them you can get in a good condition for a reasonable price.
That OM2 amey mentioned is a nice camera as well.
