my frend gave me ZG cliper i think the padas where some other comany - any way i could not make them close - lie the pads where to far from the rims no mater what i did it did not mater and i want to buy the clpiers but i am donot know if these one will close on the cliper
    thankx

  • The Ciamillo calipers are fine with narrow rims (I've used them with Dura Ace C24, Archetypes, Mavic Cosmics and Open Pros).

I think the issue, which I have come across, is with very worn pads or poorly adjusted cables. The distance between the cable clamp arm and the bottom of the barrel adjuster is less than on most calipers and it's possible through combination of cable adjustment and pad wear that when the caliper is closing, the arm will hit the barrel adjuster and can't close any more. If you're aware of it it's not a problem.m, and in use you'd notice a loss of absolute braking power during the hardest braking which would get progressively worse as the odd wore down. You could never just find yourself without brakes.

  • Do the pics not work? All there for me.

  • PM'd re calipers!

  • Updated and some drops.
