What's a good tool to create GIFS? Or rather what settings should I be using because my attempts look shit or are HUGE. Complex video compression for multiple sources? Fine. Cat GIF compression completely flummoxes me.
I usually save a video, import video to potatochop with each frame as a layer, save for web, up the lossy setting a bit depending on amount of movement in frame, same for dither, 128bt colour etc, then export- usually end up with about 3-6mb file which to my mind is still too large but they look like I applied a 'make it look like shit' filter.
