I've just put the chupacabras back on for the summer and it's all kinds of good! A lot of owners have put a bouncy fork on the front, but I've honestly not felt the need. When the tyres are dialled in right, it's an absolute hoot.... some people also run it 650b+ (which it's designed to do too), but again, I can't see the point of that, when the big wheels are so good. When it comes to flickableity, you can't touch it. I've had it about a year and a half now, and still the joy is strong!!

cool video, but most of the shown trails seems rideable with a normal cx bike which would be lighter and faster!?

What if you want comfier ride of beefy tires and aren't in a hurry?
-
• #895
If you're just trying to have a good time, going faster seems counter productive.

Yeah and there was a highway for even faster transportation. We lost the race...
There were lots of roots and rocks on the trails and the footage from the actioncam came out quite shaky. Anyway I would recommend at least mtb-sized tires if you gonna carry the camping gear, water and food on your bike there. And it's good to prepare for the worst parts with your bike of choice than only think the average speeds advantages on smoother sections.

What's like a surly troll fork but lighter? 26inch wheel, disc brake, couple of braze ons...
Any update on your stache? With all the drama with the recall fork I've been thinking about selling the PM1 and getting one but sad to see no rigid fork option this year
