What's the logic behind those seat toppers? They look rubbish, even worse when colour matched.

vertical compliance and light weight is what Trek says .. I've never had any issues with mine.

Thats smart!
I've been meaning to come and race road bikes at Redbridge ever since the last Thundercrit but not gotten round to it yet. It looks much more fun than your average circuit

perfection minus the seatpost .. also compact bars?!
-
• #111
whats wrong with the seatpost or compact bars?
-
• #112
As that is Boonen's last Paris Roubaix bike, I shouldn't imagine he would give a flying fuck about our comments on his choice of seatpin or bars, I would think by now he would know what he wants and fits him....

Just a bit odd .. you hardly ever see compact bars on pro bikes and unless they have a finishing kit sponsor (also de branded zipper stem) seat post is part of the whole s works tarmac package .. lovely bike nonetheless. Is it boonen's?

Pro Control's decent, hard wearing training tyres. You mean you don't own some Dura Ace C40's as training wheels?
-

But this is the road race bike thread, not the road race bike with training wheels thread.

NBD for me. Well...last weekend but took it for its first race that day too:
