BITD I was told that you put your foot under the pedal as it descends to stop it going down.
I had a quick check just now on the internets and the first reference described what I found to work brakeless without retention, which is to put your bodyweight close to the bars and lock the trailing pedal. It seems I may have been misled...
I once tried Jamaica whilst bringing home takeaway. I was wearing desert boots and the pedals nearly broke my toes... #csb
Seriously tho, I can't believe anyone actually does it.
When I'm brklz without retention I just put my weight forward & lock the trailing pedal.
