Its Saligia, they were sold by a bike shop in Denmark some years ago. I think they were made by rychtarski or orlowski.

No, ok it's not difficult but I've never seen a wobbly commuter on a pashely do one. It kinda implies that you have other bike handling skills. Like riding a unicycle implies you're in the circus.

What is this jamaican method? Please enlighten me.

BITD I was told that you put your foot under the pedal as it descends to stop it going down.
I had a quick check just now on the internets and the first reference described what I found to work brakeless without retention, which is to put your bodyweight close to the bars and lock the trailing pedal. It seems I may have been misled...

I always thought it was the way you first described. I.e. Like skidding clipless but front foot goes under leading pedal and lifts, whilst pushing down on rear with trailing foot.

That's a real nice touch.

Although i do also like to think the size of my bike makes it less attractive to tealeaves
So much this. The fact none of my friends can get legs over the top tube makes me confident.

That's gotta be a head on for that clearance (lack thereof)
Yeah of course, I'm speaking generally. I'd like to believe that anyone with enough interest in riding bikes to know/have the skills to footjam wouldn't be teeefing other people's bikes. But that's probably just optimistic naivety.
