He hasn't even used it himself yet. Don't think he's planning on it

I'd keep it level but lower the whole thing a bit

The Geliano looks spot on, as well. Did you convert the axle of the comete or did you just use a chainline adjusters when it was on the Pisello? Last week, a guy sold two track mavic cometes on leboncoin for 100€ a piece. I contacted the seller but he told me that they were already dibsed, otherwise he would have shipped them. He told me that there's still a very slim chance that the buyer won't pick them up till next weekend but I'm not overly optimistic.

It's already a little lower than normal. My legs aren't straight or stretched at all. Just feels comfier to sit on like this.
Can feel some discomfort on the inside of my sit bones though which is why I think I need wider -

Should have just offered 120!

Fair enough :)

I offered 150 but he's a gentleman who sticks to his word.

I used a Mavic track converter when it was on the Pinsello...
Gentleman he is !

Are you, by any chance, implying that you're the prospective buyer? If so, dibs on one of them ;)
-
• #113987
no it's not me...

• #113988
I mean I'm not sure but...

Good point well made

Yep, no problem at all, and if it's already been previously dibsed then that's fine, but if you do try it and don't like it, I'd definitely be up for buying it off you :)

What are the usual suspects for play in a threadless head set?
Tension bolt is not bottoming out on steerer end and is not pulling the expander out of the steerer.
Stem is smeared with carbon assembly paste and torqued to 5Nm -

Replacement fork arrived for the rusty frame. Hoping there's enough threads on there for a fairly low stack headset...

Integrated or external cups?

One of each.
I can feel the play at the upper internal part. -

Replace the cover with a spacer of similar stack height, that will allow you to look at the bearing while you rock the steerer around so you can see exactly what is moving when it shouldn't.

FWIW, I went through the exact same process. I think you need to with a relatively deep drop, personally. Comfiest position ever.

needs white bartape & saddle, maybe gumwalls

Thanks. I'll do that and report back within a month or so given the pace of my projects at the moment.
Hmm, if @Turkish is looking to sell, I may be interested. According to Steve Hogg, the Composit is effectively wider than the Forma, which might work better for me...
