Not really, the lack of brakes is obvious to spot and hopefully would dissuade anyone who understands foot retention, if they don't then the alternative is an entertaining face smashing once they fail to operate said bike. Having said that, I've heard of a fair few track bikes simply being slained by thieves.
Yeah of course, I'm speaking generally. I'd like to believe that anyone with enough interest in riding bikes to know/have the skills to footjam wouldn't be teeefing other people's bikes. But that's probably just optimistic naivety.
