  • I guess it's the term 'rich' that I'm questioning. It would make you a high earner but I'm not sure that I would connect an individual earning over £70k with being automatically rich. Or am I just living in a london hipster bubble?

  • I suppose they're defining rich as the point at which you no longer have to worry about paying for living, can afford an expensive hobby or two (or family) and still have spare cash to save/invest.

    Edit: Rather than as someone else said, able to live for decades without having to work.
