specialized globe with carbon seat stays and forks.
I know they are aluminium based but I have a Globe pro (& Globe Expert) and they are simply one of the most bombproof frames I've owned. I was rear ended in a hit and run 5-6 years ago and though the wheel was pringled the frame showed zero signs of damage, I've come off a couple of times due to mtorist/pedestrian misdemeanors and it doesn't bat an eyelid.
The Globe will take 29er wheels if you want and has space for 42mm with mudguards no problem at all up to about 55mm without. It has all the mudguard/rack fittings you'd ever want, I've never been under 100kg and have ridden it with another adult on board and with loaded panniers (so about 180kg total), 7 years of solid commuting/utility, audax and touring and it's as solid as it came out the factory, as a do-it-all bike/frame I simply couldn't recommend it enough whether it be for fast road riding or rougher terrain.
problem is finding a good one in your size (a 58 would do it). just some musings anyhow.
I do have an older 20" MTB frame that's in very good order you could have for a donation to CDF though collection would be North Herts or postage at cost.
