Riddle me this, I have issues with my shoulders when riding- I suspect from holding myself off the bars. Swapping to an SMP made this a bit better as I can lean into the saddle rather than holding myself off it, but only up to a point- the shoulder issue still stops me riding over five hours.
Riding the Klein Q-Pro I just built the shoulder problem is hugely reduced- it's also very low at the front. I seem to be supporting my torso much more with my core when the front is lower.
Now I could lower the front of the CAAD12- but I already get thigh/ribs interface on that. I don't, however, on the Klein.
What's going on, and is my WAG of "lower is better" correct?
How much lower are the bars on the Klein?
Have you used the same saddles and saddle setback on both bikes? If you have, I reckon you should try moving the saddle rearward on the CAAD.
