thanks hippy. that's as i thought but was worried disappointment / post bank holiday blues may be clouding my judgement a little!

Any half decent shop with apologise, get the bike in the stand straight away and put it right. Sounds like it should be straightforward.

Exactly.

Small tweak with screw limiter, and the brake sound like bedding in and just need to be re-setted.
