London re-chroming

Having a nightmare with Ashford Chroming at the moment. I suggest you avoid them like the plague. They've lost my parts and are refusing to communicate. AVOID.

Anyone know anywhere in the North that does chroming? I know Bob Jackson cycles do it, but my a** puckered when I saw the price.

Got a quote from http://www.atlantic-boulevard.co.uk/index.htm for chroming rear triangle, fork and restoration of the paint for £450. almost twice as much for the price I paid for the frame itself.

Place on OKR does forks for £90.
Dunno what the rear triangle would cost,

i'd assume somewhere between £150-180.
Expensive... (probably the best solution is to find a good chromed Colnago fork here)

I need a quote lower than 90 quids for my vintage stem which needs paint removed from it.

I just used these guys for nickel plating my forks, they only charged £50 (+VAT) and managed to get it done within 3 weeks. Nice job too!

I need to travel to London then for my re-chroming. How much is it to remove chome from fork and chain stays?
I will need new chrome on my fork, seat stays, chain stays and the lugs on head tube.
