Last three bikes all nice in their own ways. The lowpro from @Reinier89 is just lush. Such shiny, so campagnolo, many period correct.

It's a "silk" lacquer finish, somewhere between matte and glossy.
https://www.facebook.com/bicyclepainting/?fref=tsI wanted matte first, but felt it was a bit "modern" for the bike.

Yeah, that lo-pro from @Reinier89 is ridiculously nice. Would be great to see some bigger pics :D
I love the paintjobs on Duells because they remind me so much of racing car livery. They're fitting for bikes designed to go fast!
My choice of blue wheels was sheer fluke, someone was selling those cheap right when I was coming to build and there's a spot of blue on the headbadge so....
I have some Ventos too, might stick those on, but slightly fear chrome overload.
I would like a period headset as the one in there is a much later Mirage, not fitting with the record and chorus bits.

Here is mine... Nothing special, my daily ride.

Gotta be the first time there's no hate for a conversion on here. ^
I'd be very interested in a Duell track frame 55-57cm, if anyone happened to know of one going...

That canned tomato sauce!

Just been out on my Warrior, I forget just how nicely it rides. I❤️my Duell

Here is a question - Duell Professional Cinelli BB, Italian or English threaded?
-
• #88
how wide is the BB shell, 68 or 71 mm?
-
• #89
It's a 68mm. I totally forgot to measure the BB. Nice one.
Anyway this is the rest of the build attached to the BB in question. I recieved it yesterday after having it shipped in by a nice chap in Holland.
It's a 54cm Duell pro SLX. It's a straight swap for my Moser Leader frame as it was slightly too big. I do have the forks but i'm a big fan of my current front end set up so that gets the nod for now. I think i will look for a nice Thomson inline seatpost however.

Really nice, kinda like the minimal colors. Do You have the original fork?
-
• #91
Yeah i have the forks, but no quill, bars or headset unfortunately. I may go down that route ar some point though. I managed to fit some Crud Mk2's on him too (just) which is a bonus. Currently being used for my commute into Cardiff and doing well. It rides very well. I need to sort an SLX decal out though.

Just built up a Duell Sportivo Columbus Max, bought frame from a Dutch Ebay seller, bike is in Northern California. Nitto Cockpit, (replacing ITM stem with Nitto Pearl), Regal Saddle, full 6800 drive train. Wheels are 5800/H+sons TB-14 with Pave tires.

love these frames. What made you go with the green tyres and flouro bar tape?!
-
• #94
Green tires are Vittoria Pave, which I had and which are also appropriate for a bike such as this. Bar tape is actually not Flouroescent, but it is brighter than I like and I will probably switch to Orange or Black in future

Ugh, that paint job is awesome. I kind of like the green wall tyres for some reason, but the bar tape is a bit odd. Maybe a black seat post.

Just picked this up, Ten Tusscher TSX2000... Red/blue fade paint, chrome is superb... Can't wait to get her built up!

Wow, serious. That's amazing.

I probably could've got it for AU$50 less (paid $500), the paint isn't perfect but it's so nice... And the guy drove 100k for me to look at it, nice fella... I think he raced this one back in the 90s, guy is Dutch but he's the Aussiest Dutch bloke I've ever met...
Alloy 11sp Athena, 9sp Record hubs/Archetypes, CInelli/Girardi finishing kit going on... Should be minty... Another fat cunt on a nice bike... ;)

PS I need some new dropout adjusters, one is bent... Gah! Will Campag fit OK? I need to order them pretty much right away, got a new Record headset already on the way...
Without seeing it, I'd say odd for blue rims for a red frame, but damn it's sexy.
