If Putin really wanted to fuck us up he'll get Jez in.

I don't think he'll have to do anything to fuck us up, we seem to be putting in a pretty solid effort already!

She's setting herself up with a rubber stamp parliament isn't she?

Just read Tim Farron is an evangelical christian.
Is there not a party without a madman/woman at the helm?
-
• #34
yeah I'm trying to ignore that too
-
• #36
Not that Theresa May's christian values do much to guide her decision making.
I hope her god does exist, and judges her.

Wait, what?!

Although if you take the Brexit vote on constituency lines it was much more a vote for Brexit, nearer 2/3 majority I think.

You didn't know that Timmy thinks gays can be cured of their sin?
-
• #41
I'm not sure it is true but somebody told me that while Timmy disagrees with gay marriage and abortion, he recognises that he is in a minority and supports the right to freedom of choice.

Mmm. All those people hacking twitter accounts to post a reply to the Humanist Association.

Unlikely story I know. It would be so foolish for him to have written that knowing anyone could view it. His history on gay rights are chequered for sure, but I believed him on that one.

So are any Labour MPs going to be deselected?
-
• #46
Corbyn said no ages ago. But I don't know what the deselection process is. Can it be done by local members before an election?
-
• #47
Think it is local party, Corbyn might not be able to control it. Seems to have died down as a threat.
-
• #48
will there be televised debates?
-
• #49
36% of population voted Brexit. That leaves 64% who either voted remain or didn't vote...

Nobody knows yet. They seem to be making it up as they go along. Straight after the announcements the bi-elections were going ahead, now it seems not.
I booked my summer holiday (flying out 7th June) a while ago. If find it pretty crazy a general election is called with less notice but that's politics.
Without the lib Dems having been anialated at the last election, they would have been a good choice. But now? There really isn't any choice...
