Haha I can't remember there being a roll-up test at The White Horse
-

I googled it and got a post on TTF from Tester, so what's a roll up test?

New tires are on their way..then sort out the cables and the handlebar. Seen 500km of outside action, since then stored in a shed. Sella Italia saddle mounted already, got the matching grips too.

80s Cannondale SM-something with roller cam brakes. Building it up as a flat bar commuter, 1x10 with clutch derailleur. The long head tube should lend itself to dirt drop shenanigans if/when I fancy a change.

Get a 300mm second hand one. :) I got mine at 450,-, shot the image below at 5.0

Not that far of course but yes, you need some distance. This automatically helps creating the effect you're looking for. Picture looks goods to me as well but since he mentioned he didn't know how to get more bokeh....
Love the color of the Klein btw, not so keen on the transition of forks and head tube. :)

People definitely confusing bokeh for depth of field here

Want so bad.

You're right, although closely related.

Nice! I would repaint that frame flat black, could be such a nice build!

No way, that's an ace colour scheme!

I've got a pair of brake levers to match those cranks knocking around some where. Very well built stuff if I remember correctly.

Brake levers are actually one thing I haven't decided on yet, don't like the pair I've got in my parts bin. But as the cranks are from late '90s I think, the levers might be for v brakes?

My commuter set up this year, so much fun on this :

Love this! You've probably been over this before, but what's the story with the head tube?
-
• #113944
I've just found them out. They have adjustable cable pull so can be used with canti or v brakes. (Sorry for poor picture)

I was initially thinking Suntour, preferrably in black, but those look pretty good and wouldn't be completely random choice. I could be interested pending price, if you're ok with posting to Finland.
Edit: I found a discussion suggesting that the adjustment is for V brakes only. I might need to look into it a bit more.

Ah thats what that is! Had one of those on a bmx a long time ago and never knew what it was for...

I still use a set of these on my 29er. Solid levers. Older than any part on the bike by some margin (except the rider that is).

Ok have a look and let me know, postage is around £8 for tracked a signed for I think.
-

Yeah it's so you can adjust the pull. I didn't know until a couple of years ago when I swapped from drops to risers on a old bike and used the wrong levers and had no brakes no matter how hard I pulled the lever lol

They are a solid little pair of levers, I've had them for a while and have always kept them for just incase. But that's like most items in the parts bin!
That's in danger of failing a roll-up test without even having tribars :)
