I heard this before I bought my Kinesis CX disc fork. The difference in rake is pretty imperceptible and the change in A>C height was offset by taking another spacer out from underneath the stem. Still rides like a beaut, just stops in the wet too now.

Late but for completeness that was a 700c trucker fork. The 26 would have been better but you'll struggle a bit to run decent size tyres AND guards with a 700c wheel.

Supposedly 26" disk trucker fork is a good match, geometry wise, for the steamroller. £80 from triton.
