Yeah I could do that, but second hand Record and Chorus cranks are going for around £30 to £40. I would prefer to keep the Chorus BB and replace the Daytona crankset with a lighter Record⁄Chorus crankset. Wouldn't you?
Not really TBH-Campag Chorus bb's can be had 2nd hand for £15 and then sell the old one for the same. I've the tools at home though so quick and easy for me to do it
why are you trying to match the cranks to BB? why not just switch it out for a longer one and keep the same cranks?
