  • Anyone else doing the Farnborough & Camberley CC 25 this Sat on the H25/8?

Either way, for those who have ridden it, what is it like- anything to look out for/pacing strategies?

  • It's up and down. Push on the ramps to reduce speed loss.

It's a good course. Pretty honest but not mad fast.
Been a few years since I rode the 25 there though.

  • Don't underestimate the traffic and arrive late is my best tip for that course.

Oh and make sure everything is tightened on your bike.

  • anything to look out for

Read and obey the local regulations, which should be printed on the start sheet. There are special instructions regarding both the Coxbridge roundabout and the single-lane sections of road.

  • Keep your eyes out for the ruts and holes in the road on the approach to the Coxheath roundabout (eastern end of the course). The start will seem slower than usual as it's slightly uphill for a couple of miles, so don't panic.

  • H25/8

Everyone here should be aware that the local residents around this course are not happy.

Many people on our side believe the course is overused.

My point is simply that there is a danger that the course may be lost as a result of protests by the residents, so everyone should be on their very best behaviour when using it. This is especially true in relation to parking near the Bentley HQ.
