Yeah this. Campag bottom bracket is around £30 on wiggle in either 111mm or 115mm spindle length. You could get a cheaper one such as a tifosi with the same length for cheaper.
I have a veloce crank from around the same era which takes the 115mm spindle fwiw. edit: just checked, i have the 111mm one. think 115 is for triples.

Yeah I could do that, but second hand Record and Chorus cranks are going for around £30 to £40. I would prefer to keep the Chorus BB and replace the Daytona crankset with a lighter Record⁄Chorus crankset. Wouldn't you?

why are you trying to match the cranks to BB? why not just switch it out for a longer one and keep the same cranks?
