I disagree.
Because it's made out of a softer material and designed to break, even if it's just over 5mm out of alignment, I would strongly recommend replacing it.
Of course I would replace it too, I mean, you've already got a new one, but I wouldn't worry a lot about bending it Back a few mm's.
A few mm's is usually fine, but definitely one of those thing you don't want to straighten again once it get bent.
