It was a few years ago now but I had a weird experience with Yorkshire Watches over a Seiko Monster that I bought from them.
After a few weeks on the wrist it started to lose loads of time. I shipped it back to them for a warranty repair. They emailed me a few days later to say somebody had clearly opened the watch and tinkered with it so the problem wasn't covered by the warranty.
This was utter bullshit. Well, if it was true, then Yorkshire Watches sold me a watch that somebody had been fucking with. Have been quite hesitant to deal with them again after that.
I just bought an SKX from Creation and was stung for £41 taxes.
The chapter ring is loose and moves around so I'll have to get that sorted as I'd have to pay postage back to Hong Kong for them to sort and I worry I'd get stung by customs again and the replacement could be exactly the same.
I'm going to mod it anyway so I'm not too bothered but I don't think I'd buy from them again. I'd probably go to Yorkshire Watches and pay a little extra for less hassle.
Delivery was incredibly quick though.
