It's just a terrible rule, that is totally unworkable.

Ok cheers. Also do people ask for position advice (posting photos) on this page or is that considered a no no? (Considering peoples response to that sort of thing on UK timetrialling & CTT?)

Do as you want. It's a free for all. So post away.

But I'm not sure anyone on here, or anywhere else, has any idea what they're talking about.
You need to do some aero testing. If you have a powermeter you can do it yourself.
