That Cambridge P50...used to own one of the first P40s, bought from Audio T when they worked out of two rooms in Dryden Chambers W1. Looks in good nick, did you sell it?

Also what about the Rotel RT-990BX FM tuner?
-
• #579
Still got both the p50 and the fancy rotel fm tuner

I agree, although I wouldn't say it has a cheap feel to it, the massive torroidal transformer has some substantial weight. Looks wise I quite like it, but I agree vu's and rosewood sides would have meant it sold a long time ago,

Arcam CD82 £150, a few small marks but a fantastic cd player.
Arcam delta 90.2 integrated. Quite a highly regarded amp from the early 90's. Sounds really good. £120.

Aye. I've still got an early spec Cyrus One in use. IIRC it was priced at £99-£119 new. Which seems an amazing bargain now.
That one is really nice... (3.5mm socket front, so does it still have the 6.35mm headphone jack in the back?) -
• #594
The headphone socket doesn't switch the speakers off.. fyi. A little annoying. Cool looking amp tho
-
• #595
really? b...but... ::brain explodes:: (okay, am looking at the output options - Mute? Pretty sure my Cyrus One doesn't have that, nor does it have the volume/balance combo).
I'd be all over this if I didn't already have too many unused amplifiers in my life : /

Nope no other headphone connectors. Hard to believe they were only £120 new, lovely little amps and very well made. Had a few of them, one of which went to someone on here a few years back and never had any issues. Great phonostages too.

Audiolab 8000T tuner. Very highly regarded tuner. Needs new backlights for the display and the lid could do with a repaint. For these reasons it's a bargain £150.

B&O Overture system, practically mint, working perfectly. The sliding glass doors are class. £250.
I also have the previously mentioned Beolab speakers. Would do the full set including 2 long lengths of powerlink cable for £400 (which is a bargain for b&o gear in such lovely condition)

That Luxman looks similar vintage to my LX-33 valve integrated in terms of what's served up. The Luxman single-digit series of the time was kind of frustrating IIRC: Unbeautiful design, use of cheap plastic in some of the controls, but they're well-behaved with a lot more power to hand than whatever the RMS rating is. Great amp if you find it in a carboot. Slow mover otherwise? If it had VUs and rosewood sideburns your hand would be bitten off...
