  • I don't want to use it, as I said I'd already replaced it and have no need for it.

    I received some carbon bars this morning which turned out to be damaged, and I expected the seller to refund me - but if I'd bought them in February I'd expect the seller to be a bit suspicious.

    If I had sold it without knowing, and the seller had got back to me tomorrow saying it was damaged I'd give them a refund - if they got back to me in two months I'd be a bit wary.

    I can accept the seller would be wary seeing as I bought it 2 months ago.

    But what I came here to get opinions on is whether it would be reasonable for me to try and seek compensation for something I paid £170 for and never got to use.
