In retrospect, the steel frame allow you to make some modification and probably radavist-style paintjob.

Does the current version of the Cinelli Mash Histogram accept a front brake? https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/192180/ claims that an earlier version had a hole drilled in the fork that was plugged and painted.

The previous one most definitely did have one, exactly as you describe.
Pretty sure it's the same with this one if you have a really close look, as that's what mine looked like before I put a brake on. -

Looks awesome

Question which may have been discussed but now that the collaboration has ended...are we going to see prices going up in the mid/long term? There are still a fair bit of brand new frameset and bike for sale out there....
-
• #3838
I don't think there will be a significant change in the second hand price, they have been widely available for some time, wiggle seam to have loads in stock with discounts between 17-25%
Your definitely not going to see Brooklyn style inflation.
Has there been any news as to what Mash are going to do now ? I assume there'll be buy some off the peg frames form China and branding them up under there own name.

Unlikely I think. It'll be collaborations with US brands.

Mash said that they want to collaborate with SF locals at some point. And I don't know any other manufacturer than LOW -> $$$
-
• #3841
That would be interesting, but isn't LOW two people welding frames in a shed in SF, not really the scale that mash are used too.
-
• #3843
Well, if they collaborated with LOW, they wouldn't need much scale with those prices
Exactly my thinking.

Just googled that, wow!
Actually if it had a bottle cage mount or two it would be a perfect road fixed. Perfect for short blasts that I mainly do on it. I have a (heinous) rear saddle double bottle mount thingy that I'll use for longer rides on it. And yeah 48x18 for climby days, 48x14 for flatter stuff.
