Thanks, yep regretting not taking the details of the two officers who witnessed the whole incident, but have the drivers details so hopefully it'll all be fine... such an odd crash, bright sunny day, totally dry conditions, not much traffic etc, and nowhere to go where he turned in other than the forecourt of a closed car tyre shop.

@mcmyk - In your case I would just ask the dude for around £500 or do the insurance route even though it would take a while to get comp
