  • For the UK the judge actually sentenced him quite harshly.

    I had a look at cases in The Netherlands, but there isn't that much online. What I found was also payment to family/driving license revoked for a certain amount of time/community service.

    The jury system and the "driving w/o due care" VS "driving recklessly" may not help, we don't have that in NL. But does it mean more sentencing/harsher sentences?
