She says she's okay and the bicycles okay, but what do you do when it's not okay.Assuming this was entirely the ped's fault, and you have hit the deck and are not in any immediate danger - don't get up. This will make other people more likely to help you, and make it harder for the ped to leave the scene, assuming they can. The process would then be similar to an incident involving a vehicle, in that the police and medics will show up, details will be exchanged, and at some point you will try to recover costs through the ped's insurers, be it their travel insurers if they are a tourist, or their home insurers or other indemnity provider if they are a local.
