Hefty - I think it's coming from the headlamp washer, I checked the coolant and it's at max on the expansion tank, and possibly more importantly it's orange whilst my washer fluid is pink.

Ooh. Headlamp washers. Fancy.

I've never had an early 996 with those, but I expect it'll all be plastic pipes and T-pieces so one will have split or popped off another. They'll be cheap. Taking off the bumper to get to them won't.

Take the wheel off and remove the wheel arch liner. You should be able to fix it from there. I also need to do mine. It's a They All Do That Sir kind of issue.
