Anyone used the S-One? They look/sound pretty ideal for the TCR.
Any downsides or words of warnings for me?

I've been on them a few weeks now. Obviously I can't give you a long term review, but I've ridden them quite a bit in this time and they're probably the nicest tire I've ridden. Cornering and grip is amazing.

I been using them for a long time now, mostly on roads but sometimes in towpaths and bridleways. Not a single flat, fast, comfy, wide. Very easy to mount with no tubes, hold air very well. Only downsides i can find is that they don't look the most durable tires and fairly expensive, but well worth it

Fears are unfounded, will seal many cuts and ones that are big enough to fuck the tyre badly enough to warrant putting an inner tube in would have more than likely punctured an inner tubed system anyway.
Airloss is no worse than inner tubes - I'd hazard a guess it is less bad.
Pro One's have been pretty awesome for me.
