Impossible to know what was said, what is for sure though is that saying something is not reason enough to punch someone twice in the face.

Happened to my mate after someone accused him of calling them a cheeky cunt. Punched to the ground in a packed bar with cctv and multiple witnesses. The scumbag cunt got off after two trials, somehow.
