Shimano didn't produce a road '10 speed'/compact Octalink chainset, by the time 10 speed came along they went to external bearing BBs and the only Shimano compact Octalink is the 'new' 8 speed Claris. It should work but you'll need to check the BB lengths to the one you presumably already have. Ritchey did produce Octalink compact c/sets but no idea what spindle length they used.
Other alternate is using a shimano MTB crank but the pull ratio of the derailleurs won't match Road STIs. If you're friction shifting then that's not an issue.
Thanks for the info, that clears up a lot I wasn't sure about. I'll either wait* for a Ritchey WCS frankest to crop up on eBay or I'll buy a new bottom bracket then.
