£320 for a bag ?
Someone's tried to sell one on Ebay recently and they didn't sell it for offers around £220. -
• #4
Thanks for the comment.
I couldn't find the bag on Ebay, so I would think it may have been sold.
It's very hard to come by this bag in such a condition. Brand new this would retail for $350+shipping+import charges. This bag has been discontinued since and there's hardly any around especially not used.
I'm sure there is a bike messenger or someone interested in this bag. It isn't your typically Chrome Citizen messenger.
I'm open to offers but in no rush to sell. I would keep this bag and use it but I've always leaned towards backpacks.
All the best. -

The odds of a bike messenger having that kinda cash is slim :-D

Thanks for the link.
The listing was ended by the seller. It does say the seller ended the listing as the item is no longer available. -

I've seen quite a few roaming with these backpacks https://trashmessengerbags.com/#/catalogue/bags
and they cost quite a bit $370-$400. My bag appeals to someone who needs to carry big loads. I've seen two messenger with the Berlin bag but clearly used a lot. A messenger that works full time will invest in their equipment. Just my thoughts..... -

Using the exact same description as yours, it sold for £210.

Guessing it fell through as it was relisted for £220 (and didn't sell)

I received the same link earlier on. It says the listing was ended by the seller as the item is no longer available. I'll assume it was sold by the seller as it hasn't been re-listed.

It's funny because I would have never sold this bag for so little. I bought this bag for $350+$65 shipping+import charges. Way more then what I'm selling for. It's a rare bag and only selling as I prefer using a backpack. If you can find this bag for cheaper elsewhere please be my guest and buy it. I'm not trying to inflate the price, just get a reasonable portion of my money back as it's still in 'new condition'.

This bag won't get expensive, it already was expensive. I see your point of view but like I said there are people out their buying massive bags to carry big loads from american like this link here:
https://trashmessengerbags.com/#/catalogue/bags
I know quite a few messengers with these bags. Instead of spending $370-400 plus import charges someone could consider this.
You can't find this bag anymore, it's no longer in production. Only ones are the ones being used and maybe one or two that are in new condition.
Thanks for your comment. -

£320 for a messenger bag?
Fuck, you can have one fully custom made (coloured straps, lining, outer) by the guys at http://www.blahol.pl for 130 euro + shipping.
And it's larger too.

The price of the bag reflects the brand. Chrome industries has a reputation and a lifetime warranty to back up it's rep.
The bags by blahol aren't established or have a huge reputation/customer base. They don't have stores worldwide or distribute there products worldwide to retail stores either. Well to my knowledge anyway. If they did the price will go up. It's business.
They are a small upcoming business based in Poland. Once they get bigger they will increase the price in order to supply them enough to pay their bigger workforce and r&d for new products.
It does sound like your promoting their product. This thread is for the sell of a Chrome Berlin Bag, not alternatives to the bag. I know there are infinite alternatives to this bag but this isn't the thread. Thanks for the comment. -

Try your luck on the Bay. No one is going to pay anywhere near that here.

The price of the bag reflects the brand.
AKA Hipster tax.
You were the one who compared the bag to that of another much smaller company (trashmessengerbags) stating how this was a better deal. I was merely doing the same with blahol.

Not really hipster tax if it is actually worth the money. Why do people buy Low, Dodsnoventa, HED, Enve, FFWD, Rapha products. Is it because of the brand or because of the craftsmanship and durability/functionality.
Trashmessengerbags isn't that small of a company, it's much bigger than Blahol.
Thanks for the comment either way. -

Thanks for your comment. I'll leave it up here for now. I don't have an eBay account and honestly don't really want to make one.

Chrome sell the berlin for £150. I paid £200 for a brand new one just before they dropped the price.
-

Managed to dig out the old price tag that I had lying around somewhere. You're right! My bad guys. Honest mistake. It does say $250 rather than $350. My mistake. I've adjusted the price accordingly. Thanks for the heads up.
