Unfortunately some missed the proceeding slip roads off the RAB. Embarrassing and annoying :(

@onyerbike you went round twice? At least it's a time delay and not a DNF

Your issue sounds worse. Mine are at correct torque (maybe a smidge higher) with assembly paste and they don't move suddenly. Rather, I inspect them and find they've rotated a bit, probably after slamming into many potholes on the shitty English roads I ride. I did add zipties between the pad holes to stop them going too far.

I've got to the point of emailing FL but I need to pull my bike down and measure it up, which I don't want to do right now because it's all nicely ziptied together :)

I'm not sure about Quadlock. I think I'll put my etrex mount there - if I can get one with a non-curved base. It'll probably end up getting left until too late because I'm lazy when it comes to working on bikes.

Bugger. Can't cater for other people's rides though.
What time did you do? -
• #15134
Not far off the pace but how much time are the other guys spending racing 10s?
Has you power been up or down compared to your 'untrained' position last year, in general I mean, not just the race? -
• #15135
Well up on power from last year.
Think I just had a bad day yesterday.

Too much pressure on yourself? Did something different? Tried too hard in the wrong spot?

Anyone got any recommendations for the best bang for your buck interval session for TTing? I am only looking at 10s and 25s at the mo.
I've had a bad back since January, am only just getting over it, hence power is down 40w or so for a 10. Almost embarrassing this morning.

Gordon Wright pyramid set
If you can finish that, you're already fit enough and don't need any more training :)

There's a reason sweet spot is named sweet spot... just saying.

Just trying to recable my tt bike, however the cable stops on the brake cable are too large for the fsa levers. Gear cable seems to be a perfect fit.
Is it common/accepted practice to use gear cables for the brakes?
I let the lbs do the cabling last time so haven't experienced this before.

I have my Shiv basebar all cabled up with DA levers and low-stack height adapters. I should list them on TTF. I'm very busy drinking and listening to 90s trance though. Very busy...

So it looks like the special vision brake cables are 1.5mm and that my lbs chanced it with gear cables on my behalf without telling me.

Let me know if you manage to separate the da levers from the base bar :)

Probably wouldn't go back there again then...

Dunno could be many a thing.
Will see how the 25 one goes. Hopefully pick up a podium. -
