  • That's very close to ours.

I've not seen that blue before. Nice!

  • Last years colour Blue, black or piss yellow this year on rollers.

  • I was lucky as it's discounted and the only one in stock!

Not keen on blue but actually growing on me!

  • Yeah. I need your luck with bike buying. And your trade discount too.

  • Good bike. Light blue & silver parts was brave but it came out nice

  • I realised why it look good, it's more or less similar to how the maroon Surly look bar the brake levers and tanwall tyres.

  • My Cross Check.

  • Does anyone know why Surly/Ison can't stick to delivery dates for new shizz?
My new ogre has been put back again. Don't mind really as I'm in no real rush but why bother giving a specific date if there's no way to fulfill it?

  • TBH, it sound like distro being distro, bear in mind the frames is coming in from container across the world.

  • Yeah I know that's the case, just wish they wouldn't keep getting my hopes up!
Mostly I'm just jealous of how rad Liz's troll is...

  • I've decided one Surly isn't enough - anyone got a Straggler or Crosscheck frameset in 50/52 they want to move on?

  • Possibly. Full bike, ss, with drops. 50cm. Almost NOS.

If it's any use just drop me a PM.

  • Like it a lot! Another example of a cc made to work without a billion spacers.

  • Cheers. Used to have double that amount of spacers with the stem flipped tother way, looked ridiculous. Due to the a-c length stack is no different to my other bike. Love it, started taking the longer off road route to work.

  • The genetic/velo orange tall stack stem is great for this.

  • Okay, Surly being Surly, it is a little too long! End up going old school with single non aero levers to ride in drop or on the top.

  • Does look big, why not just put on a 90mm? I had to.

  • Because with that handlebar being nearly 100mm long in reach, I'd need at least 70mm with the normal brake hood!

    Luckily do have this spare if I don't get on with the single levers abet need oversized stem (73mm reach);

  • Could try some Nitto noodles to shorten the reach?

Or just put some risers on it

  • Same reach (95mm).

    It's fine, it's basically a commuter, don't need to be 100% comfortable

  • I told you not to slam

  • This is fine.
