When that ball bounced off him and hit the bar, the look on his face was tragic.
I kept looking out for him, willing him to score but you just see him plodding around in the middle while Alli, Son and Trippier flit around scoring and creating goals.

Son is such a neat player to watch. Possibly their most intelligent player in terms of timing of his runs and his passing.
There was a stat on midfield goals and assists comparing Alli with Lampard and Gerrard. He could well be the new transfer record if he keeps up this sort of form.

Congrats to Chelsea for finishing it off yesterday I think spurs will drop out the fake race now.
Massive win for Liverpool. Nice to beat the bottom feeders after coming from behind. Hopefully a couple more wins from our remaining games should be enough to clinch a top four spot. All without half our first team available -

was disappointed with the commentators, saying it was a miss, ball comes through a bunch of players, he reacts late to it, ball hits him and spins onto bar. Not much he could do about that chance at all, yet they act as if it was a gilt edged chance, that he's rounded the goalkeeper and just needs to roll it over the line..
Nice to see us change up the team, giving Trippier a go, whose been effective whenever he's played, and understanding that Son works best running off a striker, and coming in from wide rather than being the point of attack.. Also proving the decision to let Chadli go wasn't misguided, consistently producing more and filling in the goal scoring blanks when required..

we definately played a game of two halves yesterday
first half clueless, headless chickens with no fluidity and anticipation2nd half brought on the big guns and suddenly there it was, the running, the jumping, the passing, lovely play all round
a draw might have been fairer result but we'll take three champions league qualification points
if anyone is in any doubt about who ate all the pies ... well, it was definately stoke, a squatter tubbier team i doubt i'll see this season

That's the one.

It shows what can happen when you have a good coach and a young player with talent who learns and is given games to grow. When they were comming through id say RLC and ali were at an equal level.

As much as I love how Alli has pushed on under the Sheriff's coaching, as a player he's got a lot less responsibility than lampard or gerrard had when they were coming up. Alli's got licence to push up and make those runs past whoever is notionally our striker, and his defensive duties are taken up by dembele/wanyama/dier think he'll grow into a true box to box midfielder but right now his talent lies in finding space in the final third, linking attacking play, making late runs into the box and scoring goals.

Some game at Goodison...

Well his talent certainly doesn't lie in making clean tackles or reacting well to being tackled...

Errrr....
LCFC League titles = 1
EFC League titles = 9Thick cunts 🙄

• #135321
So are you saying next year is your year?
-
• #135322
No, just some (modern day)fans need reminding that football started before 1992
-
• #135323
'Champions of England' is in the present tense.
'You'll never sing that' is in the future tense.
'EFC League titles = 9' is in the past tense.
But sure, they're the thick cunts...

Everton and Liverpool, united in their love of the past tense

I was still at school when Everton last won the league, which shows how long ago it was. I doubt there's anyone playing in the Premier League now who was alive when it happened.
Was just about to write Chelsea need a 3rd, Alonso with a beauty.
