I am on the ferry back to Dover now. Just had a steak sandwich and chips plus refuelled on complementary champagne, pastry, coffee and Pepsi. My mate, who I shall leave unnamed, bought me premium lounge upgrade so currently sitting in comfy chair and recharging all electronics.
The ride today was wind free and much more comfortable without the fog.
Had minor issues with my bottom bracket but Wim the bike mechanic fixed it free of charge and I only lost an hour.
I ran out of power and found out my battery pack won't charge my phone because of USB3 I think. I found the harbour using my wicked French skills and Garmin Touring with euro maps (thx @chak ).
All of this doesn't matter as my mate is waiting in Dover and I have his passport. We will be there to say goodbye to Boonen. No boarders or mechanical failures will prevent that :)
