The car is actually on top of the bike in the picture and i spoke to someone who was at the scene, they were saying they had to pull the cyclist out from under the vehicle!
I pray they will be ok too. :( -

Passed this last night. The paramedics had a sheet up for privacy and the road was closed. Hope the outcome isn't as bad as it looks.

Man that looks awful. I hope the cyclist is ok.

Horrible aftermath. Hopefully not as bad as it looks. Get well soon mate.

This sounds very bad. All good wishes to the rider.
@badmanlongtime, you might want to correct the spelling in the thread title. Confusingly, it's Guilford Street, not Guildford Street.

Anyone pick up any further news.

Was this a young female? I think my partner might know her.
-

Im not sure werher person is ok now, or wether they were female.
Anybody else heard or know anything? -

Anything else about this?
I forgot earlier: It would be good if you could edit the thread title to include the date (yyyy-mm-dd), badmanlongtime. When newspaper articles appear, they usually give the date of a crash, and this will help find the thread.
I really hope the rider's OK, but I still worry about the initial report.

Hi Guys,
I was on the scene not long after this happened and was wondering if anyone had any news on the cyclist? I've had a look online but there doesn't seem to be any news. I'm hoping she's alright!
Cyclist down just now, overheard police talking to medics "potentially life changing injuries".
Not sure exactly what happened as i was indoors when i heard lots of police sirens from my house so i came out to see what happened.
The cyclist was stretchered away.
