Is it about Black Lives Matter?
• Jamaican / African-accented vocals over protest imagery
• < 30% white actors
• Candle Janner removing white (blonde) wig to reveal black hairYeah it's a heavy-handed reference designed to court controversy.
To be fair I laughed when I imagined the short-haired police officer whacking the Pespi out of her hand and pepper-spraying her in the face, then turning to camera and shouting "Always Coco-Cola!"
and that pepsi ad is massively problematic. diminishing a movement that exists because police are seemingly deliberately targeting and killing young black men to sell fizzy pop is astoundingly tone deaf and it needs to fuck off, which it has.
