As to timings etc.... You can register any time after 8 am. From my experience most get there for about 9 or 10 am, then set off. There are usually a couple of mini forum peletons and you see people / friends old and new en route. I don't want to give away any team tactics as Team SKY might be reading this but I usually set off early and slowly and see what happens then have a couple of breaks then head back to the Tavern for Paris Roubaix sur le screen grande, post ride epic- ness including the raffle with nuff great prizes and a victory speech to the masses by Dave our glorious leader ..... er that's El Cobbledante ...

Now I know we get to a certain age and all that and names can get confusing.....
Our glorious leader Dave is not to be confused with another Dave who I understand cannot make it on Sunday, as he is expecting a package to be delivered...

BCC groups will roll out about 09-30ish and take it easy to hit the Cutty Sark at 12-00ish
Everyone welcome to tag onto the Red, Gold and Green fun train, I'm pumping for the Flyer this year and I know others will be keeping it real and dragging the sweet baby blue fixxxxxxiies out of the shed for the ride.
All you need to remember when riding with us is; to say hello to all riders you pass, shout "PAAAAAVVVVVEEEEEEE" at the merest sight of a cobble or a monster, don't take Jim's cider off of him and remember - "no manners, no spanners"

Sometimes, I wonder and wonder why Brixton Cycles is Tim's favourite bike shop.

Stop dat train @JAHtim othy. Thanks to good wholesome food, a little excellent beer, rest and recuperation and you for the get well wishes, I am better now and now just fettling my fixy to be sure it can go up hills as well as down. Just need to stock up on cigars and brandy for the Big Day.
Don't forget your wellies, people, it's going to be raining cats & dogs on Sunday. All riders must employ muguards & mudflaps in the event of a downpour*. Or a cheeky smile will do.

Weather looks good for tomorrow

Indeed, looking perfect for working up a thirst. I'm signed up for this, but my lungs are already messed up by a lurgy I've had for three weeks, and Canonbie and Eliot Bank will surely kill me. I'm quite tempted to head out with my camera and snap riders as they earn their refreshments.

Cheers to all who organised, really enjoyed it, very sociable.
Tougher than I expected, and I'd been preparing for weeks by watching A Sunday in Hell repeatedly.
(I'm almost ready to forgive your red spot colour set to knockout rather than overprint on the map)

That was awesome, until I realised I forget to unpause the computer after leaving LMNH, mean no result for hill climb on fixed! Ugh.
